Subservice Organization

Sometimes referred to as fourth parties, simply put, a subservice organization is your vendor’s vendor. These subservice organizations perform some of the services provided to user entities that are likely to be relevant to controls over financial reporting. A typical example would be the bill payment provider that is performing and delivering the bill payment service included as part of your internet banking contract.
