    Good day Community,

    Hope this message finds you well. There is an opportunity for me to move into our Security teams TPRM team for performing the risk assessments, onboarding to the tool, perform continuous monitoring etc. I would like to do a course to understand Third party risk management in space of the Security team. Most of the searches I have done is more on the interconnecting relationship between Supply chain and the various stakeholders that play a role in the process - but nothing that provides me with right information that I am looking for. The threat landscape from the suppliers being onboarded is massive and therefor I would like to learn about this domain to support this function.

    I have taken my courses at the following:

    The trainer is Mick Kless and he is amazing. 

     

    There are several levels of certifications for Vendor Management. I have completed levels 1 and 2 and am on the last chapter of level 3. It starts out at a beginner stage, then takes a deeper dive with each certification.

     

    He also has specialized courses for certain things or can customize to your needs.

     

    The certification courses are on-line for $499.00 and you work at your own pace. With the course, you get access to documents and he is available for you to answer any questions you have. I rely on him regularly. Especially, when I have a new type of vendor that I'm not sure how to vet.

    I echo Cheryl's point that Mick Kless is amazing.  I've completed my level III CRVPM cert and find his instructional videos and supplemental job aid to be very helpful.  To complement the certification, you'll also would want to study up on the Interagency Guidelines that was published on Jun 2023 on Third Party relationship.  Hope this helps!
