    Hello Third Party Thinktank!  I'm wondering if anyone has gone through a name change with their bank and what you needed to do for the Vendor management side?  How far in advance do we need to let our vendors know of the name change?  What if anything do we need signed by our vendors?  

    In my 17+ years of banking, this will be my first bank doing a name change.

    We went through a name change several years ago.  It was not an ownership change, rather it was a re-branding of the bank.  We reached out to each vendor.  Requirements varied by vendor.  Some wanted a contract addendum signed; others wanted all new agreements.  We had a few that just accepted the email as notification while others required a copy of the approval from the state banking department or regulatory approval.

    It's a rebranding as well, no ownership change.  

    We are also going through a core conversion as well so 4th quarter is going to be a little crazy over here.
