Critical Vendor
A vendor is deemed critical to the organization if any of the three statements below is true:
The sudden loss of the vendor would cause a significant disruption to the business.
The sudden loss would impact customers.
The time to restore service without the vendor is greater than one business day or greater than what the organization’s business continuity plan (BCP) calls for as a recovery time.
