If you have a contract with a advisory firm do you need to implement an SLA? If so what would you include in the SLA?

    Hi Samantha,

In the case of advisory services, you may want to consider detailed scope-of work vs. specific SLAs since most consulting is project-based vs. an ongoing service. That way, there is a clear inventory of deliverables and desired outcomes, pricing, timing, etc. However, suppose the advisory engagement utilizes any sensitive data. You should include SLAs around information security practices, privacy, and breach notification in that case. I would love to hear what other members might add.
