I work for a credit union and started a Vendor Management Month in 2019 that I now implement on an annual basis. Most of the content I use is a summarization of articles I find on the Venminder or ThirdPartyThinkTank sites. I create PowerPoint slideshows of different weekly topics (contracts, risk assessing, annual review, etc.) and then send out an accompanying email with a few basic questions to make sure the information is being digested and I know who is participating. Reading/reviewing the policy is part of the activities, as well. I usually then do a drawing of some type for all participants to encourage participation. It's really helped engagement from the vendor managers and takes some of the boringness away from the subject.
