We have roles aligned like this:
We have Senior Manager Roles for advanced staff- these would be staff assigned to higher risk initiatives and critical vendor managers for oversight and ongoing monitoring and due diligence.
The Manager Roles would be responsible for management of medium and low risk vendors and initiatives
Analysts oversee nonmaterial relationships that may require a level of recurring review or tracking for insurance if required.
I also have a GRC Analyst who is responsible for reporting for the team, and the SMEs inclusive of the business to ensure that outstanding reviews are tracked, due diligence findings are input into the GRC for tracking and they match the final due diligence report. They facilitate the reporting for due diligence findings, and go in behind the team to QC that a finding is sufficiently documented to be cleared (or escalate to me to review) So that individual serves as a control function as well. They are also responsible to provide and coordinate responses for client audits regarding the TPRM program and Vendor Management responsibilities.

We are in the preliminary stages of updating our TRMP regarding opportunities for employees. Wondering if anyone would be open to sharing their structure regarding position hierarchy and job descriptions for TPRM. Currently our positions revolve around an Analyst and dept. Supervisor, but would like to expand into perhaps and Analyst II and a managerial position(s) to allow for growth. I'm looking to better identify duties, responsibilities etc. and how those compare overall in our industry in an effort to also make a case for additional FTEs as well as possible promotions.
