    I'm curious if you consider your regulator a vendor. If so, what does the due diligence process look like for you?

    We list them in our vendor database, primarily because that's the easiest way to keep all their info and docs together, but we mark them "exempt" from oversight.

    We specifically exclude Federal, state or local governments or entities engaged by the government for the collection of taxes and fees from being considered a vendor. We do the same with the USPS and public utilities.
